Our Church
Metro Baptist Church is a Bible-centered, independent church in the Point Loma area of San Diego, California. When we say "Bible-centered" it means that the Bible is central in all that we believe and all that we do. Yes, we are a Christ-centered church, but how can we know if we are truly “Christ-centered?”
Jesus said, “If ye love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15) If we love God we will be zealous to do what He commands. Therefore, at MBC our priority will be to not only believe, but practice what God says in the Bible. With God’s help, our worship, our ministry and our preaching will all emanate from a proper understanding of the Bible and will all point back to the Bible as its source.
